Draft. This document describes what the product actually does, but a lawyer has not reviewed it yet. It must be read by one before commercial launch.
What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you.
What this is
An application for organising a wedding: a page for the guests, a guest list, replies, photos, the timetable, and planning tools for the couple.
Your account
One account is one wedding. You are responsible for what happens on it and for the guest data you enter — you are its controller.
Your content
Photos, words and lists stay yours. We store them and show them to whoever you say, and use them for nothing else. We do not train models on them.
Our content
The code, the design and the site’s own words are ours.
What you pay, and once
A plan is a one-time purchase for one wedding — not a subscription, and nothing renews. Extra storage is bought the same way, as often as you like. Every price on the pricing page is the price you pay, including VAT. The payment goes through Stripe, which takes the money and sends the receipt. Ask us for an invoice and you will get one. A refund gives back what it bought: the plan goes back to the one you were on before that purchase and the storage it added comes off. Your photographs are never touched by it — not by a refund, not by a plan ending, not by anything except you.
Changing your mind — 14 days
You have 14 days from the purchase to withdraw from it, without giving a reason, by writing to us. Use the Help screen in your panel, or the address at the bottom of this page. Because a plan works the moment you have paid for it, the checkout asks you to agree that it should start straight away, and to acknowledge that once we have fully performed the contract the right of withdrawal ends. In law that is what lets you use what you have bought immediately instead of waiting out the period. We make that simpler than it has to be: within those 14 days, and as long as your wedding day has not passed, you get all of it back. We do not deduct for the days you used it. After the wedding day the service has been performed and the money stays with us — that is what you bought it for. A refund is issued to the card or account you paid from. Your account, your wedding and your photographs stay exactly where they are; only the plan goes back.
Availability
We try hard to be up, especially on a Saturday. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we cannot promise the venue has signal.
Ending it
You can delete your wedding at any time. Deletion waits seven days with a cancel link, because it is the most irreversible thing in the product.
Liability
As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us. This does not limit consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded.
